Our legal structure

Soccer Goes to School® is a tax exempt organization under Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. We are classified as a Public Charity under Section 170(b) (1) (A) (vi) of the Code.

All contributions made to Soccer Goes to School®  are deductible under section 170 of the Code.

We are also qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, gifts or transfers under section 2055, 2106 0r 2522 of the Code. 

Our services to the schools

• Support to Physical Education teachers whenever they are using soccer as a tool in their yearly teaching program.
• Soccer activities in after school programs.
• Coaching for varsity teams in middle schools and high schools.
• Continuing education in soccer for Physical Education teachers, soccer coaches and parents.  
• Financial support for talented children from low income areas in order to facilitate their involvement in school soccer teams and in club soccer.
• Recycling of used soccer equipment through our ReSoccer program.
